There is a wide selection of all kinds of educational literature on the Russian market for children's books. However, there are very few books on social topics. The comic is used here as a new educational tool with new properties and ways of interacting with the child. It is much easier and more interesting to read, which increases motivation to learn new material, colorful pictures provide visual support, which speeds up and simplifies the learning process. In addition, comics can be seen as a tool to encourage children to read.
The comic was based on the book “There’s a Boy in the Girls' Bathroom" by the American children's writer Luis Sachar. The book tells about a bully boy from the fifth grade, who has long been abandoned by both teachers and classmates. The main character's only friends are his toys. However, with the advent of the school counselor, changes gradually began to occur in the character of the protagonist, and all due to the fact that she does not believe in monsters.
